Welcome to All Saints Anchorsholme
The Church with the anchor
All Saints, Anchorsholme is an evangelical Anglican Church, in Blackpool, Lancashire, UK, built in 1962. It has a regular congregation of about 150 adults and 20 children on Sunday mornings and 60 on Sunday evenings. We are only a mile beyond the northern end of the famous Blackpool Illuminations, and less than a mile south from the centre of Cleveleys on North Drive. You’ll not miss us if you look out for the large black anchor weighing two tons and about eight feet high in front of the church.
Services are very informal. A worship group lead in singing many modern worship songs. There are often testimonies and interviews with people about their faith. Many members of the congregation participate in leading worship at both the 10.30 am and 6.30 pm services.
The preaching is biblical and aims to both encourage and challenge us to put Jesus Christ at the centre of our lives.
We run Alpha Courses regularly. Click here for details about the next course.
There are creche facilities for the 10.30 am morning service. A cup of tea or coffee is served in church between the 9.00 and 10.30 services, and after the 10.30 am service. You will be given a warm northern welcome.
Also meeting at 10.30 am is Adventurers, for children from age 3 upwards and ‘The Group with no name’ for 14s and over.
