Apologies for the lack of blog this past week. Was waiting for the website to be declared virus free, which it now is. It is a window we have on the world that we have got used to having. For others to have a look into who we are as a church community, and for us to see ourselves as the world perceives us.
As we can see, there is a lot of junk out there, and people who design things to make the junk stick to you. Viruses. And beyond that the pornography, child abuse images, and instructions in hatred and evil, which the junk is designed to draw you towards.
Perhaps the tide is turning, with Google being placed on the rack about competition, and Mr Cameron choosing to try and draw a line in the digital sand about what is acceptable.
Grace is such a fragile thing, exposed when someone is prepared to be vulnerable, but junk does not stick to it. It humbles and awes. It’s a bit like teflon, I guess.
Thanks to the all of you who makes the website tick, especially Mike.
May it be a portal of grace, and help us to see how to be graceful.
