If you have just watched the video, you will realise how contrived and unnatural each of the pool tables look, and realise the care with which they have been set up. Nontheless, it is still impressive to watch the balls disappear like obedient little helpers down each hole.
The gas pipe repair got arranged today, the phone in church was fixed, and hopefully by the weekend all will appear as normal. That’s like the balls starting to drop into the pockets. The fact that Ian, John and Sue (though there are others) have run around setting up the little dominoes and trails on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will only be appreciated by a few. Most things have managed to make their way into the holes as usual, though not everything. Big thanks folks!
Went to see a couple this morning. Cancer treatment starts for one of them tomorrow, after multiple scans. It’s been a bit of a pain, all this waiting, but I think the dominoes and balls are now in place. There will be some careful watching going on, and in reality caring people come onto the scene to give little nudges, the significance of which they don’t always appreciate, which ensures the target is reached.
So watch the video again – are you setting out today, or are you going to be nudging?
