I do like Easter Eggs- but only because I like chocolate.
If I was asked to explain why we have Chocolate Eggs at Easter, as I might be asked to when addressing young people, then I would not have a ready-prepared answer.
2. I don’t have a personal answer. It has no resonances for me with the Easter story – it’s not where I would be starting from to unpack the Easter message.
3. With a story so rich in symbolism, why park an egg in the way to see round?
I have mentioned eggs, or at least I think I have, in Easter talks.
So, if you can tell me what I am missing, then scribble away please. I will stick with the cross… …and the empty tomb.
