Somebody rang up this afternoon, shortly after 12.00, and I said ‘Good Evening.’ I do get a little disorientated sometime.
Mondays are usually very deceptive.
There is that post Sunday feel, a bit boxing-day like, where it is the day after a special celebration that has surprised as well as reprised, and been a unique remembrance. The next week is arriving, with its promise and challenge. And the day ends either with a committee meeting, or Nexus.
A Nexus is a space created at our place to ask obvious, but perhaps avoided, questions. And to trust God to shine some light in the murky places. Nowhere off limits, and we travel together. We were part of Big Cheese Day this evening, to explore what a High Day is, should or could be. (To make sense of this, if you are interested, google Big Cheese and West Wing!)
And with Pub-Nexus* post Nexus, it now feels like it will be Wednesday tomorrow.
Sometimes abundant life means a day filled to overflowing. Not packed, but generously provided.
This could be time travel. More Kairos than Chronos.
(*meeting up after Nexus at the Golden Eagle to carry on nattering)
