It’s been a long time since my last blog – or so it seems.
It is only a few days, but since I last wrote I’ve spent a day in Steve Haskett’s Durham world, which was a great taste of what is to be. It was a holiday and a week’s training rolled into one!
Every weekend, as we gather for worship, is an adventure. Always something to be found, to be discovered, and particularly as leader, challenges. Challenges to hear God’s heart and then discover how to respond. To hear of other people’s challenges, and have the privilege of standing with them, sharing confusion, hope and love.
Some days can seem empty, some minutes can last a lifetime. Clocks do not measure time. Experiences do. They can make you older, they can make you younger.
That is probably the real reason why Jesus calls life with him eternal. It never runs out.
