Well, there we were this afternoon in Cleveleys. And it is now history.
Cleveleys has Healing On The Streets, and there are already people waiting to see us and be prayed with in a fortnight’s time.
We felt at home, almost straight away. We started by getting on our knees and praying for God’s presence. We then had most of the eight chairs in use for most of the two hours. Admittedly, we did pray for members of the team, but we did have a steady stream of passers-by willing to be sat down and prayed for by four people kneeling around them.
And some received healing straight away. The ex-lorry driver, for example, unable to drive with his arthritic knee, left his limp behind, almost ended up under a bus, then, flexing his knees frequently, made his way up Victoria Road – we even saw him running! He can return to work.
This is one of several stories – others we have yet to hear the conclusions of. They are their stories
We all had different fears and worries, but it was just so good to be there, right from the outset.
Lots of tears of joy.
That bit of Cleveleys will never be the same. We did go out with a clear idea of what to do, how to respond, and what to expect. But the real happening was the Holy Spirit touching God’s lives.
It was His story.
